Our Once a Year Miracle Offering

The house that is to be built for the Lord shall be exceedingly magnificent, famous and glorious throughout all lands. (1 Chronicles 22:5)

On Sunday, 27th June we’ll be bringing focus to our Heart for the House offering. This is an offering over and above our regular giving that is largely used to build the infrastructure needed to enable our church to move forward and grow.

This year we are believing the offering, amongst other things, is going to provide the means to obtain a multi-purpose venue for the ‘mid-week’ activity of church life. With Evening College, Leadership Training, Band & Dance Rehearsals, Team Nights, Technical Training and Life Seminars all needing space to operate from, this multi-purpose facility has become a critical need. Not only will it reduce the costs involved in hiring venues, transporting equipment and storage, but it will empower us to equip and develop people much more effectively.

As always, we will be giving away the the first 10% of this offering. This year we are giving this towards helping with the start-up of Hillsong Church New York City, and a further 10% will go towards a global initiative which will see all the Hillsong churches contribute towards the establishment of new accommodation for children at the Tembaletu School in Cape Town. The remaining 80% is going toward positioning us for a mid-week hub facility in central London.
