Sam Hewitt

Sam combines pastoring with working full-time in London, uniting his dual passions of representing Christ well in the workplace and helping people flourish in their walk with God.

He has been involved with Hillsong London since 2005, serving the church and supporting people in discovering their full potential and realising their God-inspired dreams. Having been running men’s connect groups for some time, Sam began to build a team of people, out of which Hillsong Men began to take shape. In leading Hillsong Men he now combines his passion to see men restored to a position of strength in the church with his professional experience gained as an IT developer in London’s banking sector.

Sam has spent time working for major companies, including a defence agency, The Times newspaper, an investment bank and a corporate bank. Sam is passionate about living an authentic Christian life in the workplace in order to effect cultural change and bring the church right into the heart of every area of society. He sees his professional life as inseparable from his role leading Hillsong Men, and finds that both areas feed into and benefit each other.

Hillsong Men

Hillsong Men is the gathering together of the men of Hillsong Church. Men of all ages: fathers, sons, husbands, men in industry and church. We are here to help the men of our church become fully mature in their walk with Christ; galvanising them to take action, impacting their workplaces, sports clubs and families, and meeting the needs of their local communities and beyond.
