City Care
Meeting Needs in our Community
Hillsong City Care is the community arm of Hillsong Church in London. We are here to help meet some of the needs in our community by providing care, compassion and support for people facing challenges from all walks of life.
We have a number of community based projects in our city where you can contribute your skill, time or finance. For more information on how you can volunteer for a City Care project see below, or contact Catherine Stuart.
Volunteer with the Medical VanOur medical van initiative is in phase 1 of planning. The mobile medical van will administer basic first aid and act as a sign-posting organisation, helping the homeless access existing support and medical services. If you would like to volunteer we are looking for registered nurses or those who have experience in working with homeless support services or volunteers who can speak Eastern European languages. We would love to hear from you if you are interested in getting involved! | Volunteer with Street TeamsOur aim is to offer practical help to families and individuals in the local community. We provide help with whatever the need is from cleaning windows, clearing rubbish, gardening and painting. Street teams consistently visit the same neighbourhoods and homes so to build relationships and make a difference. If you would like to volunteer every second Saturday, do get in touch. We meet every 2 weeks on a Saturday from 9.30am - 12.30pm in the following locations:
South West London: Putney |
Volunteer with Community Projects
Throughout the year we carry out projects that require a once off commitment. Currently we need people with 'handy-man' skills including painting, plastering and other basic DIY tasks. These projects usually take place on a Saturday within London.
If you would like to volunteer your skills please get in touch, we would love to hear from you!
